● Please, submit ONE application per household, even if you have students at several different schools. Please note that if you have students at both Ohio Hi-Point and BCS, you will need to submit an application to both schools.
● Children in households receiving benefits through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), or Ohio Works First (OWF) will automatically receive free meals thru Direct Certification. Parent/Guardian(s) will need to complete a waiver form in order to receive the ($30) instructional fee waiver if eligible. The completed fee waiver form is only applicable for the current school year.
● Applications submitted during the first week of school can take several weeks to process.
● If a student received an approved Free & Reduced meal application or Direct Certification for the 2025-26 school year and wishes to continue to receive Free & Reduced meals for 2026-27, submit a new application.
Applications are now being accepted for school year 2026-27
Reasons:
1 - A student could qualify for a ($30) instructional fee waiver. If eligible, parental consent is required in order receive this waiver. Please be sure to complete this section when filling out an application or in Final Forms. Please note that the fee waiver is only applicable for the current school year.
2 - Application status will carry over into the upcoming school year for a short time before changing into a paid status.
