BCS Board approves personnel items
Bellefontaine City Schools held its monthly board meeting Monday afternoon at the Central Office.
The board approved monthly financial reports.
In personnel, the board accepted the following resignations:
Russ Hogue - High School Social Studies
Chris Miller - High School Language Arts, High School GSA Club, and High School Envirothon Club
Zoe Price - Intervention Specialist
Tonya Anderson - Food Service Worker
The following hires were approved:
Olivia Conley - Intervention Specialist
Aubrie Guajardo - Preschool
Kayce Horn - 3rd Grade
Ronald Kelhoffer - High School Science
Ella Shoffstall - Kindergarten
Delaney Willis - High School Spanish
Jacob Wagner - Middle School Social Studies
Tonya Anderson - Bus Aide
Valerie Chamberlain - Bus Driver
Sarah Parmer - Bus Aide
The following supplementals were approved:
MaKenzie Dixon - High School & Middle School Assistant Volleyball Coach
Aaron Garver - High School Envirothon
Lindsay Hogan - 7th Grade Girls Basketball Head Coach
Tyrinn Robinson - Middle School Boys Basketball Assistant Coach
Randy Varner - Middle School Girls Basketball Assistant Coach
The board approved the following:
A Chromebook maintenance and licensing fee of $50 per student in '26-'27 to cover the cost of premium software licenses.
Workbook prices and student fees for '26-'27. Each student attending BCS will be assessed a flat fee of $30. All academic costs above $30 per student will be paid from the general fund.
The athletic spectator code of conduct policy
10 extended contract days for DECA Advisor Yvette Hunsicker
The board approved a resolution to apply to the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission Classroom Facilities Assistance Program. This resolution establishes and secures the district's position for future funding.
Finally, the board went into executive session for the annual evaluations of the superintendent and treasurer.
No action was taken following executive session.
The next regular board meeting will be on August 18th at 6:30 p.m. in the Sloan Distance Learning Center at BHS.
