BHS Spanish Honor Society inducts three new members

The Bellefontaine High School “Caciques” chapter of the Spanish Honor Society inducted three new members on Monday.

Each student met the requirements for membership including completing at least 4 years of high school Spanish, maintaining an A average throughout all coursework, and using the Spanish language to promote a friendly, positive environment which encourages cultural celebration and diversity at BHS.

The new members are seniors Claire Brown, Ava Kunze, and Emma Merrin.

All of these students not only excelled in their coursework, but also played an instrumental role, along with the other members of their Spanish 4 class, in organizing and running meetings and events for Spanish Club.

Their can-do attitudes and willingness to help promote Spanish at BHS will be greatly missed next year when they move on to college.
