Shaw named Tribe Member of the Week
Bellefontaine City Schools is proud to announce its Thursday Tribe Member of the Week.
Paula Shaw is this week’s recipient.
Title: Bellefontaine High School Counselor
Years of experience: 35 years
Why you love being a Chieftain: The group of counselors/secretary in my office is like a family. We each have our different strengths and are always there to support each other. I couldn't do this job without them. I also appreciate the administration. They are very supportive and are always there for me. Our staff cares about our students. Most importantly are the students. Our students are awesome! Each day is different and I always learn something from them. I have the opportunity to work in the after school program with some awesome students and teachers. I love watching the relationships that are built in here in the Opportunity Program. I am truly blessed!
Classroom motto or quote to live by: “Every student is one caring adult away from being a success.” – Josh Shipp
What you love doing outside of school: I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, watching basketball, and walking on the beach.
