BHS Quiz Bowl team splits home tri-match

The Bellefontaine High School Quiz Bowl team hosted matches vs. Northwestern and Benjamin Logan on Monday night.

In the first match, the Chieftain Quizzers blitzed Northwestern 295-40.

Elliett Lang led the Chiefs with 70 points.

Caitlin Haley recorded 30 points, Jake Moreland tallied 20 points, and Clara Core added 5 points.

In the second match, BHS lost to Benjamin Logan 255-170.

Caitlin Haley led the team in scoring with 35 points.

Jake Moreland had 20 points, Ethan Reynolds scored 10 points, and Clara Core delivered 5 points.

Cliff Core is the BHS Quiz Bowl team coach.

The Chiefs will compete at Indian Lake on February 9th.
