BHS Quiz Bowl team sweeps doubleheader

The Bellefontaine High School Quiz Bowl team swept Springfield Shawnee and host Jonathan Alder Monday night.
In the first match, the Chieftain Quizzers blitzed the Braves 330-65.
Ethan Reynolds led the team with 70 points.
Caitlin Haley had 50 points (two questions answered for Power) and Clara Core added 20 points.
In the second match, BHS outscored Jonathan Alder 255-125.
Ethan Reynolds had a team-high 45 points.
Caitlin Haley recorded 30 points and Clara Core scored 20 points.
The Chiefs finished CBC play 4-3.
Cliff Core is the BHS Quiz Bowl team coach.
Bellefontaine will host the Ohio State Quiz Bowl Championships on April 11th at BHS.
Volunteers are needed to help read questions and keep score during matches.
