BHS Robotics rallies to win tournament; two teams qualify for state
The Bellefontaine High School Robotics Team rallied to win a tournament at North Union on Tuesday night.
It was the final event in the Central Ohio League this season.
The BHS Alliance of Carnage 9185C and Terminator 9185T took home the title of tournament champs. The two-team alliance came from a fifth-place seed to defeat teams from North Union, Fairbanks, Indian Lake, and Marion winning their final match 34 to 31. This qualifies both BHS teams to the Ohio State VEX competition in March.
BHS Team Venom 9185V won the Judges Award, which recognizes teams that exhibit special attributes such as attitude, effort, and perseverance.
All three teams are coached by BHS alum Micah Woolf.
