Bellefontaine Intermediate School English learners put their sequential reading skills to the test by baking pumpkin pies on Tuesday.

While enjoying their tasty creations, they also explored measurements and density as the lesson focused on a task-based performance.

The students learned more about American culture and traditions during Thanksgiving, including eating pumpkin pie.

Ashley Reser is the EL (English Learner) specialist in grades K-5 at Bellefontaine City Schools.
