BMS shines at Model UN Conference
Five Bellefontaine Middle School students recently showcased their global knowledge.
BMS Model United Nations team members Isaac Roberts, Holland Hower, Erys Predmore, Leo Reser-Stanford, and Isaac Merrin traveled to John Carroll University to attend the Cleveland council World of Affairs Model United Nations competition.
This group of students acted as UN delegates for three different countries: France, Mexico, and Syria.
The students wrote and debated position papers regarding specific topics to come up with joint resolutions mimicking what would occur at the World United Nations level.
The BMS Model United Nations team is coached by Stephanie Fissel and Sandi Chervenak.
