In this week's Alumni Spotlight, we're catching up with alumna Gracie Purcell

 

What are you doing now?

I am currently working at the YMCA Early Learning center working with infants most of the time and sometimes tots! I love you job and the opportunity I got as a senior

How did BCS prepare you for this role?

Definitely the teachers I had throughout school helped me realize I wanted to be a teacher and help children grow and learn!

What is your advice for current Chieftains?

Don’t be afraid of who you are! I was quiet and kept to myself. It sucked . Please don’t be like me, go out and have fun!

Who at BCS inspired you?

Mr. Caudill made classes fun and didn’t give up on me when my grades were bad!

What was your favorite memory from your time at BCS?

Probably going to prom with my cousins and friends senior year!

What was your favorite meal in the cafeteria?

Garlic cheesy bread
