In this week's Alumni Spotlight, we're catching up with alumna Tammy (VanHoose) Overholser, 1981


What are you doing now?


I live in Bellefontaine. I married David Overholser BHS Alumni, we've been married 43 years. We have 2 daughters Tara (Andy) Phelps, April (Josh) Cummings both BHS Alumni. I have 3 granddaughters. One will be a BHS Senior this year. I am a secretary at the Bellefontaine Intermediate School.

How did BCS prepare you for this role?


I had teachers that taught us dedication and to always give your all.


What is your advice for current Chieftains?


To always give 100%. To treat everyone with respect. Be the one to help change our times.

Who at BCS inspired you?


The Late Mr. Greg Peitsmeyer. Always taught us to never give up and do your best.


What was your favorite memory from your time at BCS?


Sports-I loved all sports!


What was your favorite meal in the cafeteria?


Pizza Day
