Horvath named Tribe Member of the Week
Bellefontaine City Schools is proud to announce its Thursday Tribe Member of the Week.
Ami Horvath is this week’s recipient.
Title: Bellefontaine Elementary School Kindergarten Teacher
Years of experience: 17 years
Why you love being a Chieftain: I love being a Chieftain because we believe in nurturing the whole learner – especially in kindergarten, where many students are taking their very first steps toward independence. Whether they’re becoming a reader, making friends, or learning about responsibility and leadership, it’s truly rewarding to encourage and watch them grow! It’s a privilege to welcome children into Chieftain Nation and help them lay the foundation of their educational journey. Our dedicated team strives to keep that journey engaging while mixing in just the right amount of fun! As a lifelong Chieftain, I love our community and can't imagine teaching anywhere else!
Classroom motto or quote to live by: “This classroom welcomes all, embraces each, supports everyone, and hopes that you find yourself better for having been here.” – Sally Huss
What you love doing outside of school: I love watching Buckeye football, traveling to Florida, decorating (a little too much!), and hanging out with my family!
