McKirahan named Tribe Member of the Week

Bellefontaine City Schools is proud to announce its Thursday Tribe Member of the Week.

Kristy McKirahan is this week’s recipient.

Years of experience: 12 years

Why you love being a Chieftain: I love being a Chieftain because it's all I have ever known. I love giving back to the community I grew up in. I also love the friendships with staff members and the connections with families that I have made throughout my years of teaching.

Classroom motto or quote to live by: “It's okay not to know, but it's not okay not to try.”

What you love doing outside of school: I love cheering on my 4 kids in all their activities! I also enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, especially when we’re camping, playing cards, or going on walks.
